This workshop will cover various Spanish influenced settings that interpreters may encounter during their career. Orlando and Amanda will discuss teaming strategies for interpreters to implement into their work. Participants will also have the chance to interpret in mock scenarios during this workshop.

As well as to provide feedback about what supports are needed to advance the coordinating of trilingual interpreting assignments.

An Intro to LSM

Come join us in learning some basic Mexican Sign Language signs and phrases at this interactive workshop! Participants will have the opportunity to identify and incorporate some LSM signs when working with Mexican Deaf individuals in a fun environment. No previous knowledge of Spanish or LSM is required.
